Carmen Chiles at Marmont February 11

Carmen Chiles has one of those sultry voices that flows effortlessly across a variety of musical styles. Her songs cover a wide musical spectrum from jazz infused numbers to hip-hop flavorings and even modern rock. She is definitely a performer to keep an eye. You can catch her February 11th and the following two Sundays performing at Marmont in Philadelphia.

Joan Jett: Live at Avalon in Boston (10/13/2006)

While most things in Rock change and evolve, and not always for the better, Joan Jett pretty much stays the same.

As she has been in the game for nearly 30 years now, she had had many chances to sell out, sex-it-up, or jump at one of the numerous Runaways reunion tour offers.
